According to FL youth rugby, all teams have been selected for the 2011 South Regional Tournament. They have not included Chapin nor Greenville from SC.

State and Regional Championships

Congratulations are in order for games played on April 2nd: Tampa Barbarians won the U-19 Florida State Championships with a win over Daytona Beach. Naples A won the High School Championships with a win over Jupiter, and Naples B won the High School Plate Championships with a win over Miami.
Congratulations to the Palmetto Ridge Bears for winning the overall State Championship on April 9th over the Tampa Barbarians. Palmetto Ridge Bears won with a final score of 66-9.
Both Palmetto Ridge and Tampa Barbarians will go onto represent Florida as U-19 teams in the Regional Championships to be held at Lake Sylvan Park in Sanford on April 30th, May 1st. Jupiter has the honor of playing in the South Regional Championships in the single school category at the same venue. Sebastian River, who won the Girls Florida State Championship, advances to the South Regional Championship in Sanford also. Jupiter girls will also represent Florida in the girls U-19 bracket. This promises to be a great weekend of High School and U19 rugby for the State of Florida.
Other teams being represented: In the Single School Boys, Charlotte Catholic from NC, Kennesaw Mountain and Providence from GA, Jesuit Bluejays and Shaw Eagles from LA. For the boys U-19 the Trojans and Alpharretta Phoenix from GA, Mathews Vipers and Raleigh Rattlesnakes from NC, and Brother Martin from LA.
For the girls U-19 bracket, Kennesaw Mountain High School from GA will also be represented.
